The Fan Club are back at the Abercrombie on Saturday the 27th of April, joined by none other than the crew from Sydney’s premier underground music label, Motorik.

Motorik has been a Sydney institution for well over a decade supporting and serving the techno community with their flawless catalogue of releases as well as touring premier international acts such as Boys Noize, Daniel Avery, Jensen Intercepter, Bicep and Mall Grab. These champions of the electronic music scene have a vast cache of sonic gold that’ll leave no one questioning their reputation as seasoned rave specialists. 

Taking over the Sun Room is Ritmo Collective - a newly polished and exciting crew who are making waves in the Sydney scene with their upbeat, eclectic sound and focus on conscious, community-driven raving. Supported by the Fan Club residents, there’s no better way to round out the Anzac Day weekend! 

A night of club, hip hop edits, throwbacks and party. A hit of energy from start to finish every week. Joing Annie Bass, Hotbabe.93 and Cass Lee on May 2nd!

Mowgli May is a DJ, artist & radio presenter working and living on Gadigal land in so-called Sydney. With selections as hot as her iconic hot pink hair, Mowgli can be trusted to start any party & have crowds eating from the palm of her hand with her triple threat crowd reading, stage presence & eclectic arsenal of genre bending and blending.

A night of high energy with Kuren.

Kuren is a 25 y/o indigenous producer hailing from Hillston, NSW Australia. His self-taught skills were cultivated by late-night YouTube tutorials which overtime lead to a genre spanning debut album that shot him to consistent national touring with stops at Splendour In The Grass (2017) the NRL grand final and everything in between. 

From there he's hit over 6 million streams on Spotify as he constantly reinvents his sound. He's now dipping his toes into hard house and UKG so he's trying it out in the clubs around the nation and where else but The Abercrombie to start.

With a continued nod towards the soundscapes of Naarm/Melbourne, we are honored to welcome Aus duo Hybrid Man and their revered live set. Blending moments of keen introspection with euphoric electronica, the imaginative world of Hybrid Man reflects dance music past and present, fusing ambient soundscapes with IDM, 90s trance, dubbed-out house, techno and beyond for an all-immersive and timeless experience. Joined by a familiar and forward-thinking collection of local artists near and dear, we are thrilled to be return to the Abercrombie dome as we embark on another night of open expression and celebration.

Two stalwart artists in the new UKG movement

DJ Jackum takes a more energetic and uplifting approach to UK Garage with his own unique sound. Taking inspiration from Disco, Funk and R&B, he brands his sound 'Party Garage' and has already garnered the attention of prominent DJ's and producers both in the UK Garage scene and beyond. Expect huge Garage drums, massive Speed Garage basslines and high energy performances on stage. DJ Jackum is set to continue to release through out 2023 with a flurry of singles that cement his 'Party Garage' ethos even further.

Killjoy's primary business is the crafting of tough, UK bass workouts that nod to the bassline and speed garage of yesteryear though, building on the hard edged UK funky vibes championed by Champion and his Formula Records imprint, Killjoy steadily garners accolades by the dozen.

His numerous collaborations & remixes MCs most notably D Double E whos UK Funky/Grime anthem Like This remains a mainstay in the scene today, but also Jammz, Slick Don, Killa P, Shantie, Magugu, Champion and Hannah Wants & Lorenzo all demonstrate his sheer versatility as a producer each of his productions has a unique and original feel, while still retaining his trademark sound.
